A retaining wall constructed of wood beams, supporting an elevated parking area, was in need of replacement. Verti-Block was selected by the project engineer as the appropriate material to replace the outdated structure. Verti-Block’s hollow core enabled the fence to be installed directly on top of the wall, minimizing wasted space and simplifying construction. Furthermore, the wall was engineered and constructed with Zero Batter to maintain the existing footprint of the parking pad overtop. Residents who’s backyard space is at the lower elevation of the wall now enjoy the more appealing finish of the Verti-Blocks natural quarried stone pattern.
